  • Given the Gluconic acid solution as heat sensitive materials, the three stage falling film and forced circulation evaporation technology, can effectively reduce the evaporation temperature with anti scarring plugging ability.

    Main process:

    15-20% diluted Gluconic acid solution first feed into the preheater by feeding pump; heated by secondary steam from evaporator;

    Then, the Gluconic acid solution feed into first effect evaporator, second effect evaporator and third effect evaporator;

    When the concentration of gluconic acid reaches 46-50%, the concentrated gluconic acid will be pumped into the tank via discharging pump;

    The liquid level of each evaporator automatically controls the feed flow by the liquid level controller and realizes the automatic control of the process operation.

    1) Raw material information:

    • Gluconic acid PH Value: 1.2-1.5 (containing Sulphuric acid and gluconic acid)
    • Gluconic acid feeding concentration: 15-20% (W/W)
    • Gluconic acid feeding capacity: 21600kg/h
    • Gluconic acid feeding Temperature: 25degree C
    • Heat sensitive temperature: 70 degree C

    2) Target:

    • Get concentrated Gluconic acid: 46-50% (W/W)
    • Water evaporation capacity: 14000kg/h

    3) Energy consumption:

    • Steam consumption: 4000kg/h
    • Electricity consumption: installation power 180kw, power consumption 90KWH
    • Circulation cooling water consumption: 300tons/h

    Remark: In order to reduce the energy consumption, we recommend MVR Evaporator energy saving technology. The operation cost will be much lower.
