The melt crystallizer is a method of separating and purifying the material according to the solidification point between the separating substances. The operation temperature is near the melting point of the material. The material can be purified by two steps of crystallization and sweating. The melt crystallizer is mainly used in the purification process of high purity organic and inorganic products.
During the crystallization process, the material is evenly distributed on the inner wall of each heat exchange tube through a precision distributor. Because of the cooling effect, the crystal on the inner wall of the tube is formed continuously. Then, the crystal is slowly heated and the impurity can be discharged so that the product can be purified.
Melting crystallization process has many advantages, such as simple operation, low energy consumption, no chemical addition, no waste water, less equipment investment and so on.
Mainly used for the separation and purification of organic compounds, especially for the separation and purification of eutectic and solid solution, such as acrylic acid, anthracene, benzoic acid, bisphenol A, Croton acid, two chloro phenol, two chloro nitrobenzene, xylene, biphenyl, chloroacetic acid, two methyl naphthalene and so on.
